We’re getting the band back together!
Did you know the Yuma Territorial Prison once had its own band? In honor of the prison’s 150th Anniversary, we’re reviving that tradition with the return of the Yuma Prison Band, led by Shua Lopez. Musicians of all experience levels are invited to play old-time tunes atop Prison Hill.
The first practice is Thursday, January 22, from 12–1:30 pm, with rehearsals on the 3rd and 4th Thursdays thereafter. To join or learn more, email yanna.kruse@yumaaz.gov. The Yuma Territorial Prison is located at 220 N. Prison Hill Road in Yuma, Arizona.
